Have I always loved French style? Will I ever stop loving it? Do I use French style for clickbait? Would I ever move to Paris?
I recently did an ‘Ask Me Anything’ on Instagram and this was the most asked question. So I thought to wrap up 2021 I would tackle this question and many others in one video.
Today we’re talking about why I love French girl style and where my love of French style came from.
Today’s video is sponsored by Ana Luisa. You guys know I absolutely adore Ana Luisa. They are an ethical and sustainable jewelry company based in New York and they have incredibly lovely and trendy pieces starting at only $39 dollars. They are currently running the biggest sale of the year! End the year on a high note with 10% off and last chance items with up to 60% off!
I wear their pieces daily and I know you will love them too. Click here to shop their year-end sale.
So why is French style so popular? French girl style has been on everyone’s radar for years and it seems like the popularity of it isn’t really slowing down at all. New books, films, and TV shows are being released all the time capitalizing on this phenomenon. French lifestyle and culture, Parisian style, French style, and French women have been the subject of fascination for decades.
And I’m not immune to it. I’m a Francophile myself. But how did I get that way? When did I begin my interest in French style fashion and French lifestyle? Will I ever move away from French style? Is French style out of style?
If you’ve ever watched any of my videos and wondered what my seeming obsession with French style is all about, then you will love this video. I’m sharing my origin story in a way. Many of you may not know, for example, that I lived overseas as a kid. That experience changed me forever. It set me on a path that would influence me for the rest of my life.
Being partly raised in Europe influenced the way I thought, talked, dressed, and even the profession I chose.
Give it a watch and let me know what you think. Also, if you feel up to it, let me know why you love French style in the comments section below.
Thanks for all your support and love over this year. I could have done all this without you. And a huge thank you to everyone who was an early adopter of the ‘French Capsule Wardrobe’ ebook. It’s been so humbling to see that you guys are really into this thing that I created. I can’t thank you enough for being such a huge support system over the years.
You can still get your copy of my brand new book right here in my Etsy shop!
XO,
Bri
