Make this incredibly simple, crazy delicious sorbet for a healthy sweet treat that also supports a healthy immune system. Probiotics from the yogurt, antioxidants from the berries, plus an extra boost of vitamin C from the Emergen-C packets gets you ready for the changing seasons.
Y O G U R T B E R R Y S O R B E T
Ingredients:
- 32 oz. of organic whole milk yogurt
- 10 oz. of organic frozen berries (strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry)
- 2 tablespoons of raw local honey
- 3 tablespoons of raw organic coconut butter
- 2 packets of Raspberry Emergen-C fizzy powder
Directions:
- Blend berries and yogurt in a blender on high until completely smooth
- Strain liquid through a plastic sieve to remove seeds, return liquid to blender
- Add coconut butter, honey and Emergen-C packets to liquid and blend until smooth
- Pour liquid into silicone or plastic ice cube trays and freeze for 2 hours or overnight until frozen solid
- Once frozen, place cubes from tray into a mixing bowl and mash with a fork until slightly broken up
- Using an ice cream scoop, serve up several dollops for each person and enjoy! You can also just grab a cube on the go for a nice little sweet snack.
