After years of waiting, dreaming, praying, and paying off debt, it is finally happening. Mike and I are going to Paris for our 10 year wedding anniversary and long overdue honeymoon.
I never intended to shoot today’s vlog. It was so off-the-cuff and raw. In fact, I was still in my sweaty workout clothes and had on zero makeup. But thing is, I really wanted to share this moment with you because I had just booked our tickets via Scott’s Cheap Flights for a grand total of $582.00!! Yes. You read that right.
Two round trip tickets from Atlanta (ok, we’ll have to drive a bit) to Paris for $291 each or something crazy like that. It’s so worth it to go even though we’ll have some driving to do.
We live in Knoxville, Tennessee (where Dolly Parton is from) so it will be about a 3-hour drive to Atlanta, but it is so worth it for that price.
We even booked our Paris apartment through VRBO last week and I could not be more thrilled. There’s a lot of back story to this trip if you’ve been hanging around for a while. You know that it’s been a life-long dream to go to Paris and that last year I even made a video about it.
You can watch that right here.
But now it’s finally happening and my mind is blown.
Mike and I will have been married 10 years this July and although we won’t be in Paris during our actual anniversary, we did get to treat ourselves to this trip.
Mike actually lived in France for 11 years as a kid. His parents were missionaries there and when we return, we’re planning a trip to his hometown. So, this visit has many, many layers of meaning for him, for me, and for us as a couple.
It’s especially meaningful for me because it was a dream that I constantly asked God to fulfill. But I knew it was in His perfect timing.
I plan on sharing more with you about the entire process and plan but for now, watch today’s vlog where I share how I got tickets at that price and what I plan to do while in Paris.
XO,
Bri

Oh, thank you so much, Carol! That means a lot to me. It is definitely a dream come true for sure. Stay tuned for more vlogs about my dream Paris wardrobe, and planning for Paris. Hopefully, my husband will be cool with me filming in Paris. <3
