I’m going to Paris for 10 days in September and I’ve been obsessively working on creating my packing list for France and figuring out what to take with me to Paris.
I decided to share my packing list with you so you can learn what to wear in France in September. Or if you’re planning a trip to Europe anytime soon, this list will also help.
In fact, getting ready for this trip my mindset has been all about taking only my most beloved items from my wardrobe. Paris in September is apparently the perfect time of year. And it is also the month that the Paris Fashion Week is taking place.
Of course, I want to arrive looking my best, but I don’t want to bring too much either. Feeling confident, being comfortable, and blending into the scene is important to me.
Because of this, figuring out what to wear in Paris now, getting that classic Parisian style down to a T, finding stylish walking shoes for Paris, and sticking to as minimal a list as possible, is hard.
I’ve poured a lot of time, attention, and care into selecting the items from my wardrobe that I’ll be taking, as well as which items I still need to get that will make the difference and make me feel sexy, classic, and cool.
So, let me show you my Paris essentials and what I will be packing for Paris in September.
Watch this week’s episode to see some of my most versatile, classic, and beloved pieces from my wardrobe. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to create a travel capsule wardrobe of your own or to look for some new items to add to your existing lineup.
Also, if you love minimalist french style and want to know what not to wear in Europe or hot to not look like an American tourist, then definitely subscribe because next week I’ll be doing an in-depth video about what to not wear in Paris.
You can subscribe by downloading this new free resource I made for you. It’s the most epic packing list of all time. There are over 60 clothes, shoes, and accessory items for you to choose from with resource links.
The guide is divided up into tops, blouses, sweaters, outwear, jeans, skirts, and more. Plus, there are some helpful resources included that will make traveling to Paris or Europe super easy on you.

Hello Bri,
I am also going to Paris for September and I would like to know if it would be OK to bring my vintage gold coco chanel earrings on the trip. They are the CC style bought from poshmark. I think it’s a 70s style. I don’t want to loose them for one. Also I don’t know if this would attract pick pockets. I am a lady traveling alone. Please advise,
Kind Regards,
Kim

Hi,
If you don’t want to lose something, don’t take it.
Always be aware of your surroundings. If you are walking down a street and feel uncomfortable, turn around and go back. Trust your instincts. People will say, “Did you drop this?” or offer you something, don’t engage in conversation. There are pickpockets. Just be aware and don’t place anything down that someone could snatch.
I have been to Paris many times with my husband, girlfriends, other couples, my children, we have been fine. I love the feel of Paris. And Bri’s wardrobe advice is great. But no matter how I dress, my husband always looks like a tourist! And tennis shoes (so comfortable for older feet!) are always a dead giveaway.
Have a fabulous time!
