Have you ever wanted to look inside my closet? I bet you have. I bet you totally have.
I help my clients transform their style and wardrobes so they can feel better about themselves and so they can make getting ready easier.
As it turns out, I actually practice what I preach.
When I look at the closet space that I share with my husband I never feel overwhelmed, lost, or confused about what I have, where it is, or how to style it.
When I organized my closet like this about 2 years ago, I was curious how long it would last. Honestly, before the big purge which you can read about right here, my closet was a nightmare. It did overwhelm me. It did cause me stress. It was embarrassing and I didn’t know where everything was.
But now, years later, the organization is still in place. Getting dressed is easy and fun and I have all that need to feel cute, confident, unique, and put together.
This week’s episode I walk you through how I organize my clothing in a professional way so that putting outfits together is a no-brainer. Shoes and accessories are also on offer and you get to see my mix of basic items versus statement pieces.
There is ratio I recommend, so be on the look out for that!
Clothing is so personal. You have to decide what amount of clothing is right for you. I’m a very sentimental person so I hold on to things I probably shouldn’t. To me, these items are works of art and pieces of history that each holds a special meaning to me.
Keep in mind that almost everything I show you in my closet including accessories are second-hand. Second-hand fashion is a core value of mine. Even my shoes are 99% second-hand. So if it seems like I have a lot of incredibly nice things, I do! But 90% of it used.
I hope this sneak peek behind the scenes helps inspire you to get clear on your style, and to take the plunge to make your closet a space that you love and a space that works for you!

I love buying second hand. I have so many nice things that were never even used by its first owner. Plus the variety of items available in style, fabrics, and cuts are so much broader. Keep doing what you are doing.

Hey friend!
That’s awesome. Second-hand is the best, isn’t it?! Thanks for your comment and good vibes.
