I was hanging out with one of my best friends the other night splitting a bottle of Ce La Vie Rose and talking about life. We sat on the patio of our favorite Creperie and soaked in the warm Tennessee breeze.
After our adult beverage, we took a stroll around downtown and I noticed my friend was walking kind of funny. She pointed out another patio for us to go sit down in.
“What’s wrong?” I asked?
“I didn’t know what shoes to wear during rainy 70-degree weather. My feet are killing me.”
Has this ever happened to you? If it has then you know how awful it feels to find yourself in the middle of a wardrobe malfunction. I know this all too well. I used to be the girl who rarely had her act together when it came to knowing which key pieces I needed to feel comfortable, look cute, and be prepared for the weather. Not any longer.
Why? Because, as a Personal Stylist, it’s my passion and job to hunt for the best brands, understand what actually works, what items are just fluff and what items really make a wardrobe come together.
With so many options out there nowadays, it can be overwhelming to know what shoes, jeans, blazers or skirts really will be the best fit, best fabric, quality, and best price.
Your style should be simple, easy, effortless, and fun. It should make you feel like a million bucks without having to work too hard or suffer for fashion’s sake.
Superga
Love their classic Italian vibe. You really can’t go wrong with these shoes. I liken them to Vans or something similar but I think they’re just different enough to be something special. I have these and wear them to work all the time. Love them!
Thursday
Incredibly comfortable, great heel height and no extra details to detract from the overall minimalist style of the boot. I’m definitely saving up for these.
Dr. Scholl’s
Crazy comfortable shoes with a variety of genuinely cute styles. I’m really digging these low heeled leather ankle boots.
Jack Rogers
Surprisingly cute ballet flats that you could actually wear all day! Stick to the ballet flats and flats in general for the cuter styles. I like the classic ballet like these as well as these lace-up flats.
Veja
Ethical, cute, and French! What’s not to love. These are on my wishlist for this Spring. Really digging this Holiday Low Top Sneak.
Proud Mary
Incredibly cute and unique with a foam insole. Very breathable and lightweight. I love these shoes and can’t wait to get another pair. You can find them on various websites and sometimes on sale. I like these and will be waiting for them to get marked down.
Aerosoles
A comfort brand shoe line that gets it. We deserve to have cute and comfortable shoes. Thanks, Aerosoles for hooking us up. I love this ankle boot.
Still time for you to get your style and wardrobe ready for Spring and Summer
I just wanted to let you know there is still time for you to create simple, beautiful, meaningful style with me in the Simple Style Course. Like I mentioned before, this is the test run, the baby beta version 1.0 so that means you get to work with a Personal Stylist for a fraction of the normal rate I charge to work with clients one-on-one.
I had intended to raise the intro price from $25.00 to $50.00 by April 1st, but with Easter and all, I let it slip by me. However, before I actually raise the price to $50.00 officially I wanted to give you one more pass at it. Go here to learn more and grab your seat before that price goes up.
